Cogdell Memorial Hospital’s Nuclear Medicine
Department uses the latest technology in Nuclear Medicine. The GE
Millennium camera has a fast scan time with a table that has a 400 lb.
weight limit. Studies can be conducted in ½ to ¾ the normal scan time
with our newly installed software.
The Nuclear Medicine Department at Cogdell Memorial Hospital offers a
wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as:
o Cardiac Stress Tests
o Thyroid Uptake/Scan
o Gallbladder Scan
o Renal Function Study
o Liver/Spleen Imaging
o Bone Imaging
o Gastrointestinal Bleeding
o Lung Vent/Perf
o Gastric Emptying Study
o Parathyroid Study

Hours of operation are Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm. Lubbock
