Inpatient Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation

Getting from the hospital to home sometimes requires skilled nursing services or inpatient rehabilitative therapy. Many are relieved to know they don’t have to travel far to benefit from these services and recover right here at Cogdell.

Even if your stay was at another hospital you can receive Swing Bed Rehabilitative Care here at Cogdell Memorial Hospital, near your family.

In a Critical Access Hospital such as Cogdell, you might also hear reference to “Swing-Bed” services, which are comparable to what others may refer to as Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation programs (similar to what is provided at Skilled Nursing Facilities, Nursing Homes, etc.).

Once you have reached your goals, you may return home or explore additional care options. Case managers assist to find the best option to make the transition as smooth as possible. For more information on this program, call 325-575-7282.
