Cogdell Hospital Auxiliary

The Hospital Auxiliary is a non-profit organization that provides volunteer work at the hospital.  We help the hospital by purchasing equipment for them. The auxiliary also helps in the education of our nursing staff, as well as other fields.  We sometimes refer to these ladies as the pink ladies because of the pink colored smocks that they wear. Our men volunteers are a welcome part of the team also.

We provide a variety of different services.  We deliver newspapers to the patients, deliver the letters and cards that are sent to the patient in care of the hospital, and should the patient receive plants or flowers, we also deliver them to the rooms.

We also take a big part in the blood drives that are held at the hospital.  We feel we should do our part to help our community.  We try to encourage everyone who can to donate blood.
