Scholarships

With the donations that we receive, we are able to help our community by sending students to nursing school.  We mainly use the scholarship program for nurses but we have helped in other fields as well.  Two of Snyder's current doctors, Dr. Thompson and Dr. Cooper, were put through medical school with the help of the Hospital Auxiliary.  At this current time we are helping a young man named David Kerr, son of local physician Dr. Kerr, through medical school.  All the donations we receive make it possible for us to help send willing students to school.

A year or two ago, we even help students pay their way through physical therapy school, massage technician school, and a few others.  We are glad that we are able to help provide these students with the help that they need to get their education.  If you are interested in making a donation please see our page about donations.
