The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the agenda items enumerated below.

For more than 55 years, Cogdell Memorial Hospital has proudly served the residents of Snyder and Scurry County, and surrounding areas, with quality health, medical and surgical care for inpatient, outpatient and emergency department patients.

The Medical Campus includes the Family / Rural Clinic, Specialty Clinic, Business Office, Home Health, Rehab and Wellness Center, and the Hospital. 

Our hospital services include a 24-hour 7 day a week Emergency Department, Heli-Port for medical air transportation, Day /Ambulatory Surgery, Home Health,  Laboratory, OB & Nursery, Surgery Facilities, Patient Floors, Pharmacy, Radiology, Respiratory Therapy, Rehab, Specialty Clinic, and SCU.

PLEASE NOTE:  ALL agendas for ALL Open Meetings
are posted in the main lobby of the hospital.

• Cogdell Hospital Board Room is wheelchair accessible. 
• A barrier free entry is available at the main entrance of the Hospital with specially marked parking spaces nearby. 
• Requests for sign language interpretation or other special services must be received two (2) working days prior to the meeting.
• All public requests to address the Board must be registered in advance.
• Such requests should be made to Thelma Garza at 325.574.7437.

 

 Scurry County Hospital District adopted a tax rate increase that will raise more taxes for maintenance and operations than last year's tax rate; and
The tax rate will effectively be raised by 5.46875% and will raise taxes for maintenance and operation on a $100,000 home by approximately $14.00 a year.
